Rosink’s patented U-Fin allows boiler manufacturers to design more compact and cost efficient heat recovery boilers by the use of finned tubes with thinner finstrip and up to 440 fins per meter, increasing drastically the heat exchange surface per tube and resulting in less weight, less tubes, less welds, etc…

In KED’s thermal engineering software „Power Plant Simulator & Designer“ you can now also choose Rosink U-Fins for your heating surfaces in addition to the known fin types “solid” and “serrated”, etc. Based on the experience of the past 5 years and test results from plants realized with U-Fins the program allows to simulate modern design concepts on the computer and to apply them without risk.
